School Holiday Respite
City Access New York offers School Holiday Respite in Staten Island during the mid-winter, spring school breaks and various school holidays for those between 14-21 years old with Asperger’s Disorder. Participants will explore new venues in Staten Island, Manhattan and New Jersey such as:
* The Silverball Museum
* Great Adventure
* Liberty Science Center
* Ripley’s Believe It or Not
* Met Life Stadium tour
* Funplex
* Jenkinson’s Aquarium
* Museum of Natural History
This is a wonderful opportunity to establish appropriate socialization skills while participating in various fun filled activities.
For those over 21 years of age with Asperger’s Disorder, we offer Weekend Respite, two Saturdays a month 12 months a year. We also provide occasional overnight trips. This is a great place to meet former high school friends and to make new friends, while exploring new venues and different ways to have fun.
Transportation is provided for both respites.
