Executive Director

Sophia PortraitSophia Rossovsky has been with City Access New York since 2014, and has lead the efforts to improve and expand their support services for New Yorkers of all abilities. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and Linguistics with years of experience in education, professional development, management and organizational change. She is a Commissioner in the International Medical Interpreter Association (IMIA) as well as a Commissioner for Medical Interpreter Education (CMIE). Sophia led a statewide training and technical assistance initiative aimed at improving access to quality services for diverse populations, worked as a program manager at the Institute of New Jersey, and sat on the Board of New Jersey Statewide Network for Cultural Competence. With more than 25 years of leadership and senior management experience in human services, Sophia Rossovsky brings unique insight and innovative strategies to her position as Executive Director of City Access New York.
